My nickname, Mack, and my favorite band, Mayhem!

I moved around a lot so I don't know about hometown. Warren, ME maybe? My current town is Belfast, ME! 

 

How long have you been skating?

7 weeks!

 

Why do you play?

I play because I wanted to try something new. I had some interest in roller derby for a while, but never did anything about it. I finally went to a practice, put on skates and found my place; roller derby is so fun and all my little victories skating makes me feel so successful. Practice is like my “me time” away from my man and kids. As bad as that sounds, everyone needs personal time and derby practice is mine! I like to say, roller derby is cheaper than therapy! I love the amazing energy our team has, and how supportive everyone is. I am so happy I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave derby a go.

 

 

What's a great song to skate to?

Anything with some groove and an upbeat pace!I'mm on an Ariana Grande kick right now and have been skating to “7 Rings” a lot!

 

 

What's your favorite derby memory?

When I really felt like I had been accepted by my people, as a real part of the team. And all the little breakthroughs I've had with my skating skillz.

 

What's your favorite Coastal Chaos memory?

I haven’t been to Coastal Chaos yet! This will be my first year and I am super excited.

 

Does pineapple belong on pizza?

100% yes!!! Bacon and pineapple pizza is my absolute favorite. I will fight anyone who doesn't like pineapple on pizza.
