I was struck by inspiration.

How long have you been skating?

7 months.

 

Why do you play?

Being on this team has been a dream of mine for almost 10 years. I let a lot of excuses hold me back from joining. The past two years I have been making it a point to do the things I want to do and live life my own way and to the fullest. Skating has become a part of my journey of self-discovery, health, and finding where I fit in this world. Although I have only been skating for 7 months and am awkward, I have never felt more a part of a group than I do when I skate with these amazing woman. I skate for them and I skate for me.

 

What's a great song to skate to?

Thunderstruck by AC/DC.

 

 

What's your favorite derby memory?

My teammates cheering for me during a jump drill where they leaped over a stick and I barely got my wheels off the ground.

 

 

What's your favorite Coastal Chaos memory?

2019 will be my first year.

 

Does pineapple belong on pizza?

Pineapples belong in the pina colada I’m drinking while eating a barbeque chicken pizza.
